Lethbridge is a place you can truly enjoy the great outdoors. My beautiful wife of 35 years, Eva and I enjoy long walks with our dogs Chevy and BB. We both share a common love for the game of Golf.

When I'm not working I enjoy golf, hiking, and fly fishing. It’s only 75 minutes’ drive to the Rocky Mountains. On indoor days I enjoy billiards and my reef aquarium.

My favorite coffee shop/restaurant is Smitty's South . I walk in there and someone behind the counter always says a loud “Good Morning”. It makes me feel good, I’ve chosen to live in a town where the people are happy and friendly.

My favorite Oriental restaurant is O-SHO EXPRESS. They have a beautiful aquarium :),the food is absolutely delicious, and the staff treats us like family.

My favorite local golf course is Henderson Lake. It’s OVER 100 years old, with large trees, lots of water, manicured greens and tee's with a very helpful staff. Pretty amazing for an affordable intercity golf course.

You may think I’m biased, but I believe prairie people are friendlier. It’s easier to make good friends here than in a big city. A friend of mine in Vancouver says although it’s beautiful, the people there have more fear. There’s more major crime, more competition for everything, and more distractions from what’s really important in life.

I feel like Lethbridge people are more grounded, closer to the earth, if I can say it that way. I’ve made so many lifelong friends with people who I would classify as some of the finest human beings on the planet. The bonds between people in a community are what holds it together. It’s part of what I like about living here.

I’ve lived in Lethbridge for over 50 years and know it like the back of my hand. I know every street in every neighborhood. I know the different characters of every neighborhood, their access to transit, the schools, parks, and shopping. I’m sure I can tell you anything you would ever want to know. Including the areas you might not wish to live in. Yes we do have our less desirable areas as well. Rest assured I'm here to help you find your perfect home in a great neighborhood.

Why I Love Lethbridge

It’s large enough to have some of the best shopping and dining choices in Alberta, yet small enough that you feel safe at night.

Lethbridge has now grown to over 100,000 people but you can drive from one end to the other in less than 20 minutes.

Lethbridge is one of the least expensive cities for real estate in Western Canada, and yet it’s a wonderful place to live. I think of it as an undiscovered gem.

Unlike many other cities, Lethbridge is not dependent on any one source of revenue. Agriculture, oil, the university, college, Regional Hospital, City Of Lethbridge, retail, industry and many other sectors all help to maintain our stable economy and real estate market.

The four distinct seasons here are part of the spice of Lethbridge life. Summers are very warm. Fall Is windy and cool. Winters are sometimes very cold, but the warm Chinook winds warm everything up. Spring is beautiful with brilliant colors everywhere.
